Job Opportunity: Staff Dentists

Location: 12 South River Street, Cook, MN 55723; 415 North 2nd Street, Suite 2, Tower, MN 55790; 601 Highway 73, Floodwood, MN 55736

DUTIES:  Provide comprehensive quality care to patients within the scope of general dentistry; perform oral exams following routine hygiene cleanings; examine, diagnose, and treat oral complications using best practices and treatment plans; accurately read and document oral X-ray findings; perform minor oral surgical procedures, such as extractions and fillings; educate patients on maintenance of good oral hygiene; create dentures and mouth guards for patients; maintain the equipment and supplies necessary for treatment of patients within the dentistry practice; document patient visit notes in the Electronic Dental Records System; follow infection control, hazardous waste and hazardous substance protocols and participate in the development and revision of the policies and protocols; comply with HIPAA requirements and standards to guarantee patient confidentiality; maintain working relationships with other clinic departments, providers, and staff; and attend continuing dental education courses. This position requires frequent travel between employer's clinic locations in the Cook and St. Louis county areas.
REQUIREMENTS:  This position requires a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree or foreign equivalent, an active Minnesota State Dental License, and at least one (1) year of experience as a Dentist.
