Harold Johnston, MD
Dr. Johnston is a 1970 graduate of the University of Michigan Medical School. He completed rotating internship at St. Benedict’s Hospital, Ogden, Utah, a one year Family Practice Residency at St. Benedict’s and a third and final year in Family Practice residency in Peoria School of Medicine, Methodist Hospital, Peoria, Illinois. Dr. Johnston has served as Cook Hospital Chief of Staff, Cook C&NC Nursing Home Director, Cook and Orr Ambulance Director and is currently the Fortune Bay First Responders Director. Dr. Johnston came to Cook in 1974. He is a dedicated and compassionate family physician. He has a well established patient population and has treated numerous families in the Cook community over the last several decades. He also has served as the Mayor of Cook for many years. He provides medical services to patients of all ages at Scenic Rivers Health Services – Cook Medical Clinic.
